منظمتا "أرض" والقانون من أجل فلسطين يوجهان رسالة عاجلة للقادة العرب

وجهت النهضة العربية (أرض) والقانون من أجل فلسطين رسالة عاجلة إلى أعضاء منظمة التعاون الإسلامي بشأن الإبادة الجماعية المستمرة في غزة.

ARDD and L4P Sent an Urgent Letter to Members of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Over the Ongoing Genocide in Gaza

بينت منظمتا النهضة العربية للديمقراطية والتنمية (أرض) والقانون من أجل فلسطين برسالة خاطبتا فيها أعضاء منظمة التعاون الإسلامي بتاريخ 17 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2023، أن الحملة التي شنتها دولة الاحتلال الإسرائيلي منذ 7 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2023 على قطاع غزة، وأدت إلى دمار واسع النطاق وتهجير مليون فلسطيني رقى إلى إبادة جماعية وتطهير عرقي، في انتهاك مباشر لاتفاقية الإبادة الجماعية والقانون الدولي.

وأشارت المنظمتان أن الاستهداف المتعمد للمناطق السكنية والمدارس والمستشفيات والحرمان من الموارد الأساسية، قد وضع قطاع غزة على شفا كارثة إنسانية. وأثارت المنظمتان مخاوف جدية بشأن تواطؤ الدول الداعمة لهذه الأعمال مطالبتان المجتمع بالتدخل الدولي الفوري. 

وعليه دعت المنظمتان قادة العالم بشكل عاجل إلى:
• التدخل الفوري لوقف جريمة الإبادة الجماعية.

• المطالبة بتدخل مجلس الأمن الدولي لحماية الشعب الفلسطيني المحاصر.

• إحالة الوضع إلى محكمة العدل الدولية بموجب اتفاقية الإبادة الجماعية.
• الاعتراف بالهيمنة الإسرائيلية القمعية والتصدي لها، مع إعادة التأكيد على حق الفلسطينيين غير القابل للتصرف في تقرير المصير، والذي يستلزم حق العودة لجميع الفلسطينيين الذين شردوا من ديارهم طوال الـ 75 عامًا الماضية.

وشددت المنظمتان على أن الفشل في التحرك الآن قد يشكل تواطؤاً في نكبة ثانية وجريمة الإبادة الجماعية ضد الشعب الفلسطيني، مناشدتين المجتمع الدولي على الوقوف ضد هذه الفظائع، ودعم حقوق الإنسان، والعمل من أجل تحقيق سلام عادل ودائم.

In the letter sent to Members of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation on the 17th October, ARDD and L4P pointed out that since October 7, 2023, Israel has conducted a relentless campaign resulting in widespread destruction and forced displacement of 1 million Palestinians. ARDD and L4P assert that these actions constitute genocide and ethnic cleansing, in direct violation of the Genocide Convention and international law.
The deliberate targeting of residential areas, schools, hospitals, and the denial of essential resources has placed the Gaza Strip on the brink of a humanitarian catastrophe. Both organizations raise grave concerns about the complicity of states supporting these actions and call for immediate international intervention.
ARDD and L4P urgently call upon world leaders to:
• Intervene immediately to stop the crime of genocide.
• Demand UN Security Council intervention to protect the besieged Palestinian people.
• Refer the situation to the International Court of Justice under the Genocide Convention.
• Acknowledge and address Israel's oppressive dominance, while re-affirming Palestinians’ inalienable right to self-determination, which entails the right of return of all the Palestinians displaced from their homes throughout the past 75 years.
Failure to act now risks complicity in a second 'Nakba' and the genocide against the Palestinian people. ARDD and L4P urge the international community to stand against these atrocities, uphold human rights, and work towards a just and lasting peace.
